I think I'm going to look at a way to mount my front license plate inside the front grille somehow, that way it doesn't ruin the look of my front bumper.... assuming I can get the dealership to not put on the front bracket for me.... I'm sure they could do that...

When i was stationed in VA i just kept my WI tags.....no smog, no bullshit inspections, no front plate....even though its required in WI. I had zero problems for 6 years, the cops didnt want to deal with it...if i ever live in a state that requires it i will just keep my WI tags, even if it takes some work...

Plates ruin the front end of a car, imo

I've seen some attach it to the passenger visor, works. Depends where you are. I'm in CA and don't get hassled without a front plate. There are cheap solutions. I think it was 808customs that had one and another company. Few bolts and washers and just attaches to a grill, no holes. Or the PTuning idea that uses the tow hook. I used that one for a while.

Not quite sure this is the most legal or aesthetically pleasing way. Anyone have any other solutions?
That's a pretty neat tool. lol

For CA folks:

http://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d03/vc5200.htm

5200. (a) When two license plates are issued by the department for use upon a vehicle, they shall be attached to the vehicle for which they were issued, one in the front and the other in the rear.

Doesn't say jack about "forward facing".

Doin it.. under the bumper.

I would love that, as someone with several improperly displayed front plate violations, nothing would make me happier than to see the officers face when he walks around the car only to see a plate that wasn't there moments before...
