Mine work fine, like every other coupe (or vert) I've owned. Just checked and there is no lubricant on either of my plastic slides. I always request that the dealer NOT lubricate anything like door latches, slides, hood hinges, etc. Your dealer may have lubricated yours? If so, wiping them off with some solvent may help. You may have to do it more than once to get it all. If that doesn't help talk with the dealer - the spring-loaded parts inside the door may need to be replaced.

As stated, be extra careful with these doors in the wind or on a hill. Already have posts here where doors and front fender seams have been damaged by both. They don't make these things as robust as in the old days.

the door just needs better specs. It is silly that the door "wants" to slam on your leg.
I always back into any type of hill and my driveway, to prevent getting slammed for no reason.

I do the same thing. These doors train you to be nimble!

7000 miles later mine does the same thing its really annoying, i think its the angle of the door. another thing to ruin your day is releasing the passangers seat to slide forward so you can put somthing in the back seat. it will always slide back! lol tilted rails i assume.
