PSA: Screw MSRP. If you think you are interested in any Subaru (and can wait) check out the "Subaru VIP Program". It's possible to net a BRZ at 2% BELOW Invoice in certain parts of the country.

So the asking price is around $33k - $36k
They've come down a bit, saw a Rally Blue BRZ at Capitol for only a $3k markup, no extra options so I think you could walk out of there for under $33k after taxes if you play your cards right.

Might have been an auto though with a bunch of miles, it was collecting dust and I didn't look too close.

On topic; car isn't worth a penny over MSRP in my humble opinion, let 'em rot until the dealers figure out they're only fucking themselves.

MA is pretty much the same. I think there were 2 out of maybe 10 that were sold last week. There are still some FR-S' on the lots too.

Exactly. One reason why I got an FRS and I am more than happy. I can see you're in the same boat. Well done sir.

The BRZ's I saw were at Stevens Creek, didn't get to check out Capitol. I figured there would probably be similar mark ups across the board in our area. Nice they "kind of" marked-down their mark-up? lol

Lots of dealers in the snowbelt have access to BRZs (since they sell a lot of other Subies.) It's worth it to buy from out of your area if you don't mind taking a road trip

Clay Subaru just sold one for like $2.5K under MSRP on their website.

They wanted to sell it to me really bad for about a week.

I could probably get the same deal any day around here.

Excellent for you! I'm certain it won't be that way for long; winter is over.

The dealer I purchased my BRZ from three weeks ago went to gave me a slight discount because I wanted one with no options but all they had on the lot was one with a spoiler and a popular package.

LOLZ...that was the one I bought on Saturday!

What were they trying to sell it to you for?

Minus destination, taxes, and fees, I paid $27,053 with wheel locks and auto-dim mirror for the car itself. Came out to $31.5 OTD with a 7yr/100k Subaru Gold Plus warranty.

Only 10. My test drive was 4 miles, so I assume that maybe one other person took it on a drive. I know for sure that the car was on the lot for at least a month.

BRZ markup well over MSRP after car trade, dealership said because of market value. Dealership puts 5 more BRZ models on their lot right after I bought mine.

Certain states with high volumes on WRX/STI will have better negotiating power for new BRZ/FR-S. But states that have low volume on the above will have no negotiating allowance.

On average, our cars are marked up. Hopefully in a few years, because of limited supply, our cars will appreciate....especially the BRZ's
