Nope, when it's dry I prefer to drive with everything off (5 second trick). Probably happened since this thing only has 200 going to the back wheels and ~150 lb-ft. Momentum is key. I'll be glad if Toyota makes a street legal supercharger that's under warranty and doesn't cost as much as the car itself. That's why the April fool's post was genius.

I had two. The first is when the car is just a day old, making a right hander at the stop sign in 1st. That was a gentle, "be careful with me" warning from my BRZ.
The 2nd was just last week on my daily commute through the canyons. Left hand sweep going up hill. I downshifted to 2nd, stepped on it to power through and my tail stepped out about 3 ft. Which at that point, I was already on the left lane and about to say hello to the cliff so my heart stopped a beat or two. Problem is I was was not expecting it as it was dry so it must have been the morning mildew or fine sand. |

I had one the first time I took her out on twisty back roads. I was going a little fast, trying to get a feel for spirited driving when coming down hill and around a sharp turn the tail end tried to come out. She wanted to drift, I didn't. I probably handled it all wrong because I just braked hard, squealed the tires a bit and almost came to a stop. She wiggled a bit, but didn't get away. Gotta love assisted braking. I dialed it back after that.
