Ok its out of storage. Holy shit I've been missing a lot of while driving the winter beater .

I basically just started it, because my battery died (long story short: i bought the charger the day I put it in storage and there was a wrong manual in the box - completely unrelated, so I didn't really know how to set it, buttons are not labelled well - I seem to set it to maintainance mode, but battery still drained).
We put it on the charger, let it sit for 30 mins and it started without any hickups.

IMO .. I believe you are over thinking this.. Storing your car for one season doesn't require any special precautions on startup.. Not with a modern engine in running order..

I feel this way... you're going to get 2 gazillion interpretations on what to do after winter storage.

Here's what I did: Started the car, let it idle, drove away. Mine was in storage from October to end of March. All I did was buy a custom fitted car cover, pump the tires up to 40psi, add Stabil to the fuel, leave it with the e-brake OFF, and rolled it manually a foot in one direction, then a foot in another a couple of times to keep the tires from flat-spotting over the winter. My storage garage doesn't have electricity, and it didn't even hesitate to start.

Has anyone figured out a way or confirmed the 100‰ throttle method? Perhaps pulling injector fuse? Would also like to crank the oil a bit before starting the engine come spring. Thanks!

Yes, it's true. It's a common flood-clearing feature. Works on this car.

Correct. Fuel is cut as long as you have the accelerator mashed into the floorboard before and during cranking.
