Yes I am the owner and the car is a blast to drive. It was fun before but with meatier tires, coils, and power its a different animal. I come from pretty big HP cars so its not a torque monster like those but its quick and nimble and just fun as hell to drive. It will be worth every penny, I can assure you. Its gonna make you wanna keep that M3 and 996 at the house, haha.

Note; Im not hating on those either btw...those are both sick rides indeed good sir.

^ I'm excited about the potential of this car. I have been ever since they announced it. I think I can get it to a performance level that will be hard to match with any other car. The weight of this car and its natural handling ability is amazing. I've ordered and am waiting to install Eibach R2 Coilovers, Wilwood BBK, and some wider tires. After those go on (and the header I just ordered) I'll be looking for some next level speed. I don't need a monster, this is more of a backroads/precision tool. I'd be happy in the 250-300whp range. There is only so much power you can use on windy roads. I'm more interested in the reliability, ease of install/maintenance, and all around performance. The M3 feels like a school bus going through a turn compared to the BRZ (a very very gripy school bus).

That's not bad. Maybe it will be a little cheaper for me since I don't have any interior they would have to work around.

Yeah I felt the same way. I came from a 700 hp 03 cobra that was an absolute animal but it seemed to take a lot of work to drive that thing everyday. Not that it was too much power, because I really wanted more, but because of the other little things that made you constantly working. Cable clutch, drag radials through any type of liquid, weight, etc... I looked at purchasing a GTR but wanted a platform that could be built up without breaking the bank; something that was fresh, new and had potential. After driving an FRS it seemed like an easy choice, however, being a former STi owner, a former Subaru employee and an enthusiast, I couldnt bring myself to buying an FRS. In the end I couldnt be happier with my choice. The car is extremely fun to drive, easy to throw into any corner and have it laugh at your efforts to push it, and now has the ability to power through any situation. I also own an MK4 Supra with a 66mm single conversion so I feel like I have the best of both worlds also. The Supra has been a dream car of mine and my business partner and now we have two to build, haha. I cant wait to find out more about both vehicles and when I do find something knew...I promise that you guys will be the first to know. Im gonna be pushing more power in mine but slowly but surely. I love that guys are trying to throw boost at it because thats really whats its all about. Find the limits and improve on them. They just have better funding than I do to replace the parts, haha.

As for my car, I still plan on a full motor build, rocket bunny widebody kit, and all supporting mods to handle the power. Stay tuned.

Yeah Will is very easy to work with and his main concern is that you are happy with whats been done. I am not affiliated with the shop in any way but I trusted him with my brand new car and that says a lot. The cage came out great and mine is painted Teal(its my last name), and I think is subtle enough to not be annoying but bright enough to stand out from the otherwise black cockpit. Do it, haha...its awesome to look back occasionally and see a cage.

I need a place to hook my Takata Harness too, and a bolt in cage isn't that much cheaper and is less rigid.

I'm very curious to see how the kit is holding up after a little over a year?

What the heck is wrong with this forum, when people complain that that video had dangerous driving? So disappoint.

Cool video btw.
