Damn this car has not gotten a bad review yet...Nice!
I like this... ![]() "One thing we all noticed was the lack of a push-start button in the FR-S, something that all the JDM 86 seemed to have. The key-less entry system with push-button may well be an option offered when you order the car, probably along with the climate control which was a manual type on the FR-S and not the two-zone automatic one with digital controls like in the 86. Minor details of course, that have nothing to do with the driving experience." |

This car is already an ICON.

MX-5 with Fogs, keyless entry, and auto climate control (and a bunch of other stuff the FR-S has standard) $26,800 2.0T genesis base $23k (auto for comparison purposes) 2.0T genesis premium (you know, the one with dual zone climate) $26k Dammit you people need a dose of reality. |

Look, this is what I meant from my very first post on this page, people wanted the hvac from the 86 and a push start...that should not put the price of this car past 25 grand. That's all I'm saying. IF in fact it did I would just get the Subaru because I want the Subaru anyway. You're exactly right, if its $25,000 and its the same car, I'd still get the Subaru regardless. I'm just referring to those who wanted these two things in the Scion might have a chance of getting them and they'd be happy being this doesn't push the car cost towards 25 grand, if so tough shit get a Subaru. Good?

Ya its the camo one, but it does appear to be US spec and it definately has the standard key and hvac. I have only seen 1 painted US spec and it was the limited. They are all still prototypes btw.

Ya, we need more info from both companies officially to be sure. I bet they don't even know what options they are offering us yet for sure. It's always subject to change at any time, even after release. |
