Mines going pretty good too. Decided to check out Cigar Pointe. Very nice place. Great selection, cozy and comfortable lounge. I'm enjoying myself! Kinda don't wanna go to my v-day date now. Lol Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2 |

Just found another good "Cigar 101" page from a website I just ordered a small fortune of stogies from, if anyone aficionados-to-be want to read. Pretty good stuff. Many good articles can be found on the left.

Count me in, but I know very little about cigars, it'd be an educational experience for me.

Right on! I know quite a few people are gonna be at the cars and coffee meet this saturday, and going to cigar pointe was the original idea, so if you come out, maybe we can get all these guys to head out afterwards.
And check out that link I posted above if you want a little bit of helpful info so you don't walk into blind. |

Thought I would mention this; Houston region of the SCCA is having the first Double National of the year this weekend at Motorsports Ranch Houston, in Angleton. In addition to two days of National wheel to wheel racing, they are offering a PDX(performance driving experience) where you can arrive and drive the crap out of your car on the track(and get instruction from a national driver if you want)
Its a good way to get to see exactly what your car can do, in addition to seeing how big your balls are! You also get to see some of the best racing, close up and personal, wander the pits, meet the racers, ect. We will be there from Friday to Sunday afternoon, running the world challenge Mazda 6 in STU, and defending out 2012 championship. I would be very happy to have any, or all of you make the trip down to enjoy a great track, and some good fun. And to make it better, I'll even take the time to track tune anyones car that wants in on the GB price! Please let me know if anyone is interested, and I'll post the details for you |

Oh cool, right on. I've been hanging out with the TXIC (subie) guys these past couple thursday nights, but I'd be happy to hang after if yall are still out. Which Fridays?
I've had the 187's and liked them, though my "every-day" cigar has rotated to these Perdomos (on the left). Haven't tried the Trunks or Master Habano Torano, might have to pick up some and try. I'm excited for the Gurkha's I got (on the right). Got a great price on 5 beauties, 5 beasts, 5 widowmaker naturals, and 5 widowmaker maduros (all of them XO's). The Graycliff Avelino 80th was so-so, just needs to spend more time in the humidor (Think they came from india, so they're probably still in the 80% humidity range right now). Waiting on my Macanudo Gold Label, Ave Maria Knight's Templar, Cohiba Red Dot Robusto, Gurkha Master's Select XO, and Macanudo Hyde Park to all come in. |

The gold labels are awesome! I usually have those on hand! I've gotten into a more full medium bodied cigar lately! I need to order some different ones that aren't in my local shop here though. I was looking at the widowmakers online and think that'll be my next order.
The Fridays at the rim. We usually stay until closing and I'm not sure if you've met Ryan Bianchi but he comes out sometimes, kinda rotates between txic and chilling with us |
