The most recent incident that comes to mind is the one in October where EA Norway allegedly withheld copies of the games from reviewers they thought would give them a bad mark. Now I'm bot saying that EA or Toyota is doing things like this, there's no concrete proof, but it makes me take these reviews with a grain of salt.
It's also like reviews for a game like Fallout 3 which received 9/10 or 10/10, when I played the game it was pretty bland. Just gotta remember that only you can decide for yourself and just because the critics praise something doesn't mean it's automatically great.

Which further proves my point, this is a love it or hate it car. Some will say it's not powerful enough, some will say it doesn't have enough luxuries, but for a few it will be pure bliss.

All the reviews I've seen elsewhere have them at a 215 width, so your sanity may still be intact.

Terrible review. Bland and poorly written, and poor reporting (tire size).
It seems like most of the American mags aren't as excited as the foreign mags. Is it safe to say American car mag authors are like the general American public - more interested in horsepower and straight line acceleration than handling and steering feel?

The review wasn't that bad...at least they're all positive. About the tire size it was obviously a typo in the specifications at the bottom it still says Tire size P215/45R-17 f, P225/45R-17 r

Pretty sure that the tire spec on the review's spec list is in fact wrong - all tires will be P215. It's the BRZ version that goes with the wider rubber rearwards (which is consonant with the manufacturer comments about "greater stability" for the BRZ version, as this layout will result in more understeer).

How is that wrong? It says 215/45/17, exactly what the tires are suppose to be

I never even noticed all the tire sizes being exactly the same...thought they would have made the rear tires a little wider my mistake
