bumping the thread, I'm thinking about putting the SpecB rims on my DGM BRZ.

Stock suspension - I would trade my current rims and tires straight up for them (Einkei RPF1 Rims 17x7.5 +48)

Anyone think I should do it?

Sorry to bring up an old thread,

But I'm also looking into using the 05 LGT wheels for winter. With the +55 offset, anyone running into strut clearance/fitment issues??

17x7 is very narrow. If they were +55 on 17x8.5 or more, THEN I'd be concerned. Stock Subaru wheels all fit fine on the BRZ. If you had an older Subaru, THEN you'd have to research more for sure.

I believe I read somewhere a stock 11-14 WRX (17x8 +53) will hit the strut on full turns. But thanks for your response. I think these LGT wheels shouldnt be able problem either but wanted to ask anyway.

No prob! And that's interesting to hear since I never had any rubbing issues with my 2011 WRX wheels. I went sideways all the time!

Video hooning with the WRX wheels.

Sorry for bringing up a thread, but I wanted to send out thanks. I just got a slightly dinged set of 4 with some used all seasons tires and this is going to work out great for my winter rims. They look so good in your pics I might have the small bit of curb rash fixed. Thanks ft86club for the awesome information.
