Ya, probably saddleback until I don't have to pay out of state. Then UC Irvine.

If you don't mind me asking... Where did you end up buying your car.

Penske toyota in RSM. The have a lot of FR-S's on their lot right now.
Just beware of the dealer add-ons. Although im sure youre aware since this is your second time buying now.

It really ends up as second nature driving manual in California traffic, you'll get used to it.

Ya I am quite aware of that/: I would have jumped on a BRZ limited had they not added $1400 worth of stuff on it.

FR-S is my first manual and I live somewhere where there are more cars than you have people. I don't mind in traffic at all.

Hey neighbor. Depends on your commute. I live in ladera and commute to irvine. It's kinda bad sometimes with my manual. But clutch is not hard so it's not that difficult to drive in traffic.

Tap'd from my G-Nex

Don't feel pressured to get a manual because the majority of 86 owners have one. I learned how to drive and daily-drove a manual 240sx since I was 15. I'm now 17, got the FR-S with an Automatic trans as a graduation gift, and have more fun than I had in my 240. The automatic gearbox isn't one to be frowned upon, plus it's less infuriating in stop and go traffic

Big hills like SF with daily traffic would be my only dis-qualifier from standard as flat traffic cruising isn't too crazy with the light clutch and short gears.. Other "normal" hill driving is perhaps the most fun with this car...
