I pray every winter night that I never need to move to a snowy place!

Not going to lie, but I do kinda miss the surefooted feel of my LGT with snow tires. I may just put that car back on the road this winter before I sell it.

I know that sometimes snow sucks, but driving around after a snow when everywhere you go looks like this is pretty awesome:

Seriously, you don't think you would mind the torrid summers? the omnipresent stale air-conditioned air? the enervating humidity? There is a high price to pay for living without snow.

People don't sit outside in 100 degree heat, we have air conditioners too. Never having to shovel snow EVER and worry about salt corroding the bottom of your car. You can leave on summer tires all year long. I don't see what is so bad about living in the south. Snow takes work. Heat you just go someplace cool. Easy solution.

LOL. Heat by itself is not a big problem, especially when you eliminate insects and humidity. We do the same thing here in the summer that people do in the rest of the country: live in a/c, drive in a/c, dine in a/c, shop in a/c etc. Plus our cars don't rust away before our eyes.

Lol. At first, I thought how is it possible that an FR-S doesn't have winter tires in Quebec, but, then realized that traction isn't the issue, it's the fact that your car only has 4.9" of ground clearance and you got more snow than your ground clearance.

I got my snow tires and I was NOT impressed. I didnt think they were much better than the damned all seasons, just more expensive and ugly.

I was doing like 10mph through a roundabout, and under steered, then caught with the front only to have the back kick out!! Stupid tires.

I can't help thinking that maybe the tire pressure is too high, but... Hell, I don't know.

Snow tires on the twins is almost equivalent to training wheels on a bicycle when it's snowing in that amount.
