In the end, when you nickel and dime your customers, it affects their consumer behavior pertaining to your business.
While I agree with this, Scion does not control how the dealerships take "deposits". Also I though Scion dealers were not allowed to do take deposits correct? (Not suppose to anyways.)

I live in phoenix, az, and every toyota/scion dealership here was taking 1k deposits. One even called me in saying they had one, knowing they didnt, to try to get me to make a deposit on an incoming one when i showed up. I ended up finding 1 at a dealership that had recieved 9 the day before, and it was the only one that wasn't sold or had a deposit from someone out of state.

Anyone looking for a new white AT automatic? If you are willing to pick it up, or have it shipped from MA, the price is the old MSRP. All seasons installed. It has been on their lot a while, so I would think it would be worth it for someone on the west coast to buy it and take it with them. CA and MA emissions are the same.

Right? To get that thing down to 200-300 a month, you must have put like 10k down with good credit

not really, the best thing about saving for a car while its still a concept or a rumor, is you dont have to really cut into your expenses to pull it off

first heard about the car 5 years prior to me buying, 5 years to save up 15k isnt hard, especially if you trade your old car in (btw i got 4500 off my last car and it had 152000 miles and was 13 years old)

7 years at 3.9% will get it. There's plenty of configurations to get $320 a month but they all involve a shitload of years(more than 5).

As a consumer, what leverage do I have to get the lower price? Nothing was signed and the only thing I have was the older spec sheet with the lower price.

Thanks,

from what i was told, if you get your car before the new year, then you're good but would have to pay 300 if after...

they get taxed on their inventory, so they are probably using it to cover those taxes
