Of course I don't mind -- thanks for thinking it is worth of a post elsewhere. Who knows, maybe we can band together and design our own kit to get produced someday

Nice job Rampant! Always nice to see more digital mani guys roaming about in the forum.

Team designers in Autemo always intimidate me, but individual artists make me excited.

But could i give you a few pieces of advice? I know its YOUR art and YOUR vision. and iv seen your work before. But when it comes to cars its good to follow a few rules.

- Sharp object and edges are dangerous elements to work with on modern cars.
- Consider simplifying every idea you have without loosing spark. Sometimes we have awesome crazy ideas that end up going against the grain without thought and second thought.
- when shooting for a design with an objective..its best to play with it on middle grounds as a safe zone or starting point..example..if your design is about character..between aggressive and subtle its best to consider not going into one end of the spectrum. Unless thats really what your trying to do, which is more concept realities than anything else.

anyway good stuff..cant wait to see more.

WoW -- thanks for the advice -- it is always welcome (if not always heeded )

I didn't mean for the renderings to look particularly sharp, and don't think they are too unrealistic.

Look at the 1M coupe (of which I got some obvious inspiration) -- it has similarly "sharp looking" elements (well, at least that is what I was trying to illustrate):

While I usually always do more simple and clean stuff, I wanted to do something a bit different here -- more overtly complex and "layered" to try and give it a more "technical" feel. To try and stretch my style a bit. Plus, I felt this car needed something a bit "busy", since the stock bumper is soooo traditional.

I know it isn't for everyone. Heck, it might not be for anyone--it just sort of "came out" this way, and I liked it, so I posted it.

In the end, most people will want to make the car look like a Supra, or the GT350 car, or more like an AE-86, or something else they feel emotionally connected to. Heck, most won't buy anything more than an add-on lip kit. Those would be more "economically viable" design options. But, that isn't what I was going for here (obviously )

That is the beauty of digital artwork though -- it is incredibly cheap to do, and no machinery gets hurt in the process

Hey Rampart, looks great! Is there a way you can add a wing? Maybe like the TRD one we've seen around? Can't be STI without the wing

This looks wonderful! I didn't realize how good a scoop would make this car look!

I want one now!

Awesome work Rampant, that really looks sharp! Im curious as to how your designs would look with Toyota's Lugosi Red. (A new solid color I havent seen any shots of yet)
