Keep in mind that sometimes oils with different chemistries will make uoa's look wonky.

If you do a uoa on GC and then run an oil with ester base stocks (Motul 300V and I believe Amsoil 0W-20 contains some) the ester based oils will shower higher wear numbers because the oil is actually cleaning the engine internals. A process called "scavenging" by this guy.

Note the comment that you get what you pay for and check out Dyson's prices above. I use Amsoil's Oil Analyzer's Inc (Polaris Labs) because you get much more bang for the buck. Although, IMO, OAI and Blackstone are good at helping to find mechanical problems, but are for entertainment purposes only.
