I have a different take on stance that the hellaflush crowd. Stretched tires and poke just don't do it for me. I think a car has a good stance when its lowered but functional and has big meaty sticky tires that are ready to go on a time attack. To each their own though...

I can honestly see why on non-performance/econo cars, just something to do I guess. But to do it on a car like this, performance oriented/track inspired... it blows my mind.

At the end of the day to each his own.

If you want people to look at your car when it's parked you could also duck tape a moose head to the roof, same effect as flush.

automotive equivalent of wearing your pants so low they show your undies

unless youre a hot female stripper, pull them jean up, and get a proper alignment...

I dont find the look classy or high end, looks ghetto and stupid imho

theres rarely a call for more than 3-4 degrees of camber...

same with the craze of 'strectching a tire onto 10" wide rims'

is that supposed to look cool? When I see it I figured the guy ordered the wrongs size and couldnt sell them on ebay to get a size that fits.. thats NOT good modding

I don't understand why cars with broken suspensions would look "better"...

gmookher, it's rather the equivalent of wearing your undies over your pants; yes, Superman did that but it still looks silly.

Stanced doesn't mean -6 camber and stretched tires just so you know. There are so many opinions on what "stance" really is.

There is a limit and when its pushed, it rarely looks that great. This is coming from a guy who had a "stanced" STi too lol.

With the BRZ I will go for a wider wheel, but nothing that takes crazy amount of work to fit, and is flush with the body. Yes I will be low. To me, that makes the car look 10x better than it on a 10-15mm drop with small ass wheels. I understand this is a "performance" car, but that doesn't mean it has to look a certain way in order to perform.

You guys all have your heads up your asses... It comes down to simply having a low car, and trying to do your best to fill up the wheel wells, because it makes the car look complete. People that don't like it don't understand why people would do it, those of us that do it don't understand how a car with super sunk wheels and a high ride height can be appealing. It's just an appearance thing, and looks are subjective. These retarded ufo looking cars are just a japanese vip style thing, and no one really does that.

As for all you people saying things about broken suspension and how the car is ruined etc, get off your high horse... If you've never driven a car with this sort of setup, then you're in no position to talk. Every car I've owned for the last 7-8 years has been low with low offset wheels, and I've tracked all of them, and daily driven most of them. Now I'm not going to argue that the suspension geometry is optimal if you just throw on coilovers and spin them all the way down, but I'll bet that most of the people shit talking it are nothing more than benchracers that don't even track their cars.
