I wasn't refering to your weight mate. I was speaking in general from what I has seen first hand. So I appologise if I offended you directly.
Seriously tho? It depends if you want to fully save weight or just a little bit Fully? Strip everything out. Lightest wheels you can buy. Replace every panel you can with cf/alu if possible. Put in a 6-8 point roll cage. Hack as much metal as you can from pillars/roof out. Remove glass windows and replace with thinnest possible plexy windows for sides, and a adequately strong one for the front.
