So... Oversteer followed by you slamming on the brakes, which won't help correct the steer anyways?

Are you saying you thought the brakes didn't work so you slammed on them in the middle of a 25 mph turn and spun out into a rock wall?

That definitely sucks if one of your brake calipers stopped working but why would you slam on your brakes if you knew something was wrong with them? If you had been more gentle with them, you likely wouldn't have spun. But that's kind of weird if there was no brake light warning and that the ESC couldn't make up for it (unless it turned itself off or perhaps you turned it off?) Still, was there no warning light?
