I picked mine up last thursday and got Pilot SS installed. unfortunatley, the pilots only sit 1mm from the front sus. I think the major problem with the fit is the wide ass rubber that sticks out past the rim that other brands dont have. Ill try to post pics once I get some. meaty as hell, love em
![]() RPF1 17x9 45 offset. tires Pilot Super Sports 245/40R17 If you havent ordered already, I would say a 42 or 40 offset would be ideal for stock hight clearence on the inside of tire. will however stick out a good bit. Yeah a tire wider than the PSS like a Hankook RS3 likely wouldn't fit, definitely need a 3/5mm spacer.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7678 17x9 +35 is a bit more poke than I would like up front, but definitely clears the strut more: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15160

What about going with a 235 tire up front instead of the 245?

UPS failed me. Scheduled delivery was today by 5PM, however they were never loaded onto a truck, aka "out for delivery." So, hopefully tomorrow I will have them.
On a side note. I got my Essex AP Sprint Kit. That should be able to go on with the wheels when I get them. |
