![]() I don't think that thing would be a success if brought to the us, the si is priced already in the range of the 22,000 so this thing will probably be around 24 or 25? Maybe ? And that is a wrx territory

They do that so the insurance premium is lower. The GC turbo was also inline 4 turbo making 210 hp. Besides, power is never the focus of a type R, so hopefully this one gets the handling bit right.
No US release is fine with me. I want a two door with double wishbone suspension Just like the original ITR and my car.

Depends on the Torque!
210 Brake, could be Awesome IF It has an amazing torque curve/delivery |

210hp probably means you have a huge torque peak way down low and then dying off as it goes to redline, just the way you like it! (sorry that wasn't meant to sound clever, it definitely is true that that is probably the better way to do it for a street faring car...but for a pure performance vehicle operated at the higher end of the rev range, no)

yeah but with a stock turbo it'll be a lot easier/cheaper to get more power, all you need is a reflash for a good 30-40 hp.

Good point. And when it's fitted with a turbo, normally the internals are better and can withstand more boost or a bigger turbo.
