Yeah, I bet you are right, probably the change to the high flow filter letting more noise out. Which is not a bad thing in my book at all. LOL

Still love the color, looks great. I am pretty sure I recall seeing a picture on their facebook that shows the hose kit too.

I actually do want to get the hose kit to match the intake, and as I mentioned before Zeta's theme color is purple and I don't mind it at all. If it works well, then there's no reason to complain.

Whats the tubing that comes off the tube and goes left in the engine bay for/do and is it necessary?

It's a sound resonator that pumps engine noise into the cabin of the car through the passenger side.
