If Toyota didn't make the GT86 into a Scion i'd be driving one today. Seriously though, Thanks for screwing North America over just to save your cute little Scion Company Toyota!

The one and only Scion Dealership. Comeon Toyota.... Look HOW BIG THE PROVINCE IS!

It does suck that you only have 1 Scion Dealership in your province, but the FRS certainly isn't to save Scion by any means. They're selling Scions well enough as it is. I'm sure they just wanted to keep the FRS out of the Toyota Line-Up of cars because "Toyota" is a more mature brand and the "FRS" probably didn't fit into Toyota of America's "TOYOTA" branding.

Me personally, I'm just saving money until I have enough to put 20-30% as down payment. My credit's HELLA jacked up and I don't wanna pay more than 550 a month for the car and Insurance. Not to mention maybe some perks for waiting? Maybe a supercharger? Yellow Release Series Color? TRD Foglights? *Voice Goes Higher* Turbo? Not only that, but I haven't come across THE FRS that I wanna buy. For all the ones I've seen for sale at Toyota Dealerships I've only seen the Whiteout, Asphalt, and Raven. All the colors that I don't want. Not that there's anything wrong with those colors, I just want something that stands out a little more.

Because it took the factory like 4 months just to build my order and that was the only way I could afford to get one so I'm forced to wait for it. It's been 5 months total so far, but it's at least at the processing center now, so it shouldn't be long.

Too many things going on at life at the moment. Graduation, then finding work, possibly moving, etc.

But the reward at the end will be very, very sweet.

Chirp and CEL issue.

I am confident the CEL issue will eventually be dealt with properly versus the "replace everything we can think of" current method, only to conclude one part was necessary.

The chirp worries me immensely. After my test drive this evening I popped the hood for the final part of my test...nothing but normal DI sound, not a single chirp anywhere.

Of course we all know it comes later. The point is, it isn't there when new which is what bothers the majority of the people with the problem. I hate squeaky sounding cars when they drive by you in traffic with worn belts, whining transmissions, or squealing brake pads. Who the hell would want any of those noises as a "normal" sound of engine operation?

Because the delivery times in Australia are ridiculous. I ordered mine in June and its currently due late October. And i was one of the lucky few to have their order brought forward. Toyota Aus are currently quoting 18 months delivery on the up spec GTS manual model.
