Those engine specs are for Subaru's new boxer (FB I guess). Toyota has specified that the FT86 engine is based on the Subie but it's not the same.

Hachi, thanks for the update. Is there an unveiling of the concept
like the Scion FR-S @ the NYIAS or is this it for Subaru?!

I don't see what is different. I suppose 17 inch rims will be standard. Wonder if there'll be any optional 18 inch rims.
Hopefully the wheel wells aren't huge, b/c 17 is all you need on a car this size. 18" wheels are heavier and 18" tires cost more. No thanks.

Totally agree. In fact I'd rather see stock 16 or even 15 just to keep it cheap.

And as for that engine, it's really nice to see the oil filter on top. Thank you Subaru.

WRC STI engine bay. Let me find easier to see ver

K, when we change the TMIC to FMIC it looks like this

cut down that long pipe and less lag, you wanna rotate the throttle body 180 like this

Most WRC STI do it and also some of time attack STI also

Bling Bling~!!! The only thing missing is, the real car needs to come with 22" bling bling rims instead of those wimpy 17's.

On a different note, the standard 215/45/17 tire size means both 235/40/17 and 245/40/17 will work well.
