Of course I bought a mini one on eBay yesterday and I just found a super mini lol. 15 bucks free shipping from the US.

This is the one I have been using with no problem. But as you see it's huge compared to the super mini.

Wow. If those "super minis" are reliable, seems a big form factor win.

Here is the mini that I got yesterday. Seem to work perfectly. A little bigger than I wanted but it's not in the way at all. Can barely see it from the driving position. I think I'll be using the super mini which gets delivered tomorrow. The one thing about the mini is that the leds are on the back side so you really cent see them. Not that you need to.

I have a HKS OB-Link hooked up to the OBD2 port (mine is above my clutch, but the OB-Link has a wire to the sensor so it's easily positionable) and connected via Bluetooth to a Dell Streak 7 on a tablet mount on the dash.

I'm essentially using mine as:

- More accurate speedometer
- Air intake measurements
- A bunch of other measurements that the OB-Link pushes out

The HKS OB-Link package was more expensive but I like the quality of the sensor and the format of Carscope to Torque.

I'm using mine to monitor things on my engine that the ecu can see but are not displayed anywhere on the dash. At the moment boost level in my Liberty GTB.

Its also good for working out Check Engine Light (CEL) faults if you ever get any.

There are lots of things to monitor it just comes down to how useful they are to you or how interested you are in how your car works.

Hey Zengetsu, where did you get your HKS OB-Link from?
I got the app on my Android, but looking for HKS OB-Link, it's wireless right?

It's Bluetooth. I got it from GT Auto Garage in Brisbane who shipped it and a few other parts down to me. Met them at WTAC, great guys.

Got the super mini today. Works great. Can't see it when it's plugged in, even if you lean over and look for it. Nice. I think this will be the one that I use. May try a WiFi version next. I like the size and for $15.00 bucks shipped I don't know if you can go wrong.
