It would be awesome if we could re-program it to be the worlds largest boost gauge for the turbo guys.

That's a habit performance driving school strongly rips you away from. Two hands on the wheel at all times. You're supposed to only touch the shifter to shift, then put your hand right back on the wheel. Those lessons have strong influence and often carry over into street driving. I never rest my hands anywhere but the wheel, even when i drive my 96' GMC Safari.

None of that (what you quoted) here, either.

I don't think I've ever looked at it. I'd rather have other stuff there, like oil pressure ect.

I have to be going like 100 MPH before that thing will even be above horizontal!
Life sucks doesn't it?

I like an analog speedo but your right the FR-S limp speedo does bother me. I came up with this tonight for reasoning with it. Just look at the digi gauge if you wanna know how fast you going. Treat the analog speedo like a trouble gauge, The more it goes up the more trouble you are getting into.

Why did they make a digital one? Some of us prefer to NOT have the Knight Rider look that didn't "work" almost 3 decades ago and still doesn't.

It makes a good backup if the digital malfunctions or burns out down the road.
