Ahh, I didn't catch that. I do know a guy locally that is running 4.56 and he was complaining about the gap to 6th and just rides the limiter on 5th since it's usually not worth the shift.

Gearing is always a tradeoff. No car is geared perfectly for every track every corner; every time you change gearing, you gain somewhere to lose elsewhere.

I recommend you short shift to get the gearing you need, or have a soft rev limiter installed that you can ride.

That is probably the ultimate solution. Running stickier tires, getting a little faster or heck, even a cooler day will will get me back in the same rut. But a small bump would probably go a long way.

Lol, maybe I’ll just adjust the rear wing to have a slightly higher aoa.
