Guess you can run softer springs too with more anti-dive

That would go in the same direction as softer springs and stiffer roll bars, no? I.e. control the motions of the car in the directions you want and not through the springs (which basically impact all motions).
As far as I can see the Twins community typically recommend stiffer springs and leaving the stock roll bars alone or only slightly tweaking them for balance (vs. other platforms that go the other way around - much stiffer roll bars to reduce roll and keeping springs soft). Does it make sense to add anti-dive and soften springs in this line of thinking?

I'm far from a suspension expert and I'm asking more out of curiosity on how all of these different things work together.

In my opinion it does, softer springs means more mechanical grip which is good but we have to consider three important factors: purpose, tire compound and aero. With massive wings and slick tires or so you cannot use super soft springs, you need a compromise (as always basically).

Also, on a trackday dedicated 86 it wouldn't be a problem running frequencies higher than 2Hz while on a dual duty car or even a mild prepared car for a couple trackdays per year without massive areo setups it wouldn't make much sense...you would only overload your tires.
