This is well known among Porsche enthusiasts. Generally you want the car to have driven a few thousand miles per year. The ones that sit in a garage for 10 years are the first ones to start breaking components that haven’t been lubricated or cycled regularly, once you actually start driving them.

My car made a similar noise on sunday and died. It's a 2016. In the shop now and i'm expecting the worst but hoping for the best. UGH
