I would buy a 1964 Lincoln Continental $30K
and then buy a Scion FRS and use the rest of the money to mod the shit out of it ![]() Or just buy a Lexus LS 460 L AWD ![]() Now if i had $1.4m i would get the v12 Aston Martin One-77

I'm not a fan of the C class. The interior is gawdy and there's too many buttons/controls, most of which are counter-intuitive to use. If I were going to buy a car in that segment, it would be the Audi A4/S4 or BMW 328i/335i. I'm a little biased because I drove a 2012 S4 for the past 6 months while working at Audi, but the new BMW 3 series comes with high praise, too. My parents have owned several M-B's in the past and I just can't get excited about them. If it's in your budget (not sure how much they cost in Australia), the 2013 S5 coupé is absolutely brilliant! It's just a tad better than the S4 in ergonomics, but the styling is incredible (in my opinion), and the back seat will fit passengers, unlike the 86
![]() Obviously the 86 is a completely different animal. I suggest you try the Audis and BMW's and then drive an 86, and see which one you'd prefer to live with.

Silly question in the wrong forum, but I'll play. If i had 80k. I'll still get the 86. You have to decide what you want a family sedan or a sports car. Two different animals. The C250 is a nice Merc but it caters for a different crowd.
If I had to choose something else other than these two: RS4/ RS6 R34 GTR HSV R8/ GTS BMW M3 Chev Camaro Honda NSX TVR T350 Could go on, but thee you go |

You can get 911 996 turbo's for around $80k as it is.. Nearly bought one a couple of months ago. They are coming down in price quite nicely.
