My great uncle owned a motorcycle shop selling Moto Guzzis and Norton. He wore Hushpuppies to work - I swear he did it so he could run the top of his shoe along the bottom of those Norton primary drive cases to catch the drips before they fell.
For me it depends on the vehicle. The rear main on my '06 F150 has been leaking for 4 years or so. I clean off the driveway avery month or so and top up the truck at the same time. I figure I'll get it fixed the next time it needs a clutch. I my wife's Camry or the BRZ started I might see things differently.

![]() I reckon you should get the leak fixed. However, please understand that from my standpoint (I can't get under my car to see it) so, if it doesn't drip out onto the floor under my car (where I can see it when I move the car), the leak doesn't exist - ![]() (now, maybe, I'm taking too much meds - )

You might want to check the pvc valve. Not for a leak. If it's not functioning correctly, you will get too much crankcase pressure and force oil out. My old Corolla actually pushed the rear main out. There was a steady stream of oil coming from the rear of the engine.

Possible a leak from the transmission. I remember some owners had trouble with trans fluid slipping past the seal and getting on the clutch.
