Lol bruh just look up your state's nazi regulations and find out. HKS usually posts the dB levels of their exhausts on their site, too. But then again, the other key component is NOT GUNNING IT EVERYWHERE TO GET ATTENTION.

Never modded anything since living in Cali so wasn't aware of the noise level restrictions. The shit I hear every day from Harleys and over-compensating trucks tell me that it must not be a big deal. I've never seen one pulled over and any laws dont seem to stop shit.

I will have no concern replacing my muffler.

The "official" threshold is 95 dB with some standards as to how it's measured. 0 chance an officer on the side of the highway is going to abide by these standards so once again officer discretion is king...

Worst publicity video ever. But still, N1 is out there now!

Let the sound shootout begin!

So, I've never gotten to modify a car in the past and plan to with my 2022 BRZ (eventually, anyway).

Any recommendations for vendors for this type of stuff? That HKS in the original post sounds amazing! I'm in Southern California if that matters.

Right, I assume the runners will be a few mm bigger than the FA20s have historically been but, maybe not. The rest of the OEM systems is the same size as the previous gen.

Just don't try to merge onto any freeway in Texas at or below the posted speed limit, you will get run off the road for driving too slow lol

Attention exhaust companies. Do a back-to-back, stock vs your exhaust, with the same cold/hot starts, revs, acceleration, recording equipment and placement so we can get a true picture between stock and the aftermarket piece.
