He is a brit. He is not talking about American $. But I still agree with you on that point (and he does, too, at the end of the video)

That's still ~25k (not 29k like you pointed out)

Also, the 370z in the US as far as I know is like 34k+ (about 10k above the FR-S)

When I hear Chris Harris echoing my thoughts on a car, more so my car, it just makes me feel a bit smug tbh.. like maybe I'm not full of shit.

Also where is the 370Z $28,000? Every time I watch Top Gear UK the prices for the cars are more than US. In US the 370Z starts at $33,120.

I had a 911 Targa and the parts for that thing were CRAZY expensive. Even oil changes required a credit check.

Every market is different, so its hard to generalize about car prices relative to the US.

I assume the 28k number is saying that you could get one for that price.... not that it MSRP's for that.

Also hes talking pounds not $'s.

Thanks for sharing, OP. Very exciting video review. I could relate to the opinions shared within the review.

I have much respect for the 350 / 370Z, but I've never connected with the drive and never had that feel & connection with it... Therefore, I never had the courage to opt for one...

Putting in a used Cayman S reminded me of when I really wanted to pull the trigger on a new Cayman R... Though the price tag (especially with even some options) and the lack of back seats helped me in choosing a great value and sports car within the FR-S... And it came out for sale at the right time for myself, fortunately.

I am thinking, get a FR-S and call it a day, then throw one of those turbo kits on it, and who cares about any other RWD coupes....

i can see the Z Forums saying he's been paid off already...
Also noted that he doesnt seem to like the leather seats so much, wonder if he would prefer the FR-S seats and if he did that may mean the FR-S>86 (i can dream right)?

I'm a Z owner. Reviews have never been friendly to my car, and the FT86 is a darling for magazines and auto reviewers. I'm ok with that.

I've driven both, and I preferred the Z. Your impressions/drives/results/opinions may vary. I have no problem with that.

If we all liked the same cars, this would be a much more boring world, imo.

Before go into flame war between z is better &/or 86 is better debate. Debate at "vs thread" instead of here.

& I'm not pointing at anyone.
