Well, for me C1 braked fine even when it was -20C (-4F?), and they didn't squeal mad .. but wear was there. And by description of C2 as possibly needing more extensive bedding, it probably won't "fix", as it's even harder to properly bed not just on ice/snow, but even on tarmac, if one is on skinny 195 studded tires and doesn't want to rip studs out

CSG Mike: CP pads seemed more fit for such dual-use. Any news on if twins will see those too?

I never had an issue with breaking performance, just accelerated rotor wear. The pads actually look fine, but they took over 1mm off the rotor in 4 months. So now I am just going to swap them during that season. Just wanted to point that out to anyone in a similar climate.

Fortunately my car never sees the light of day in winter, so I have not seen any wear issues with the C1's.

~1mm in 4 months of winter driving? That's actually pretty damn low, all things considered!

Yeah I am not overly concerned about it. If they wore like that all the time I would likely stick with the C1's. I have been very happy with the performance.
