Get a Square setup. Staggered is not as good. I tried 4 different staggered setups. I'm Back to square.

I've had staggered size front and rear too. IMO, because the car wasn't designed for it, it looks stupid.

Choose the color of your wheels yourself. If they make you happy, that's all that matters.

If you get 8" wide wheels, get 215 or 225 width tires. If you get 9" wide wheels, get a +42 offset at the highest. (unless planning on coils at the same time)

I wouldn't get lower than +25 offset for 9" wheels.

You can run 245 tires on 9" wheels with a +25 to + 42 offset.

Get camber bolts too.

Better looks, faster, more cornering grip, less road feel, more road feel. Depending on the wheels and tires you choose, you will change how the car drives.

I agree with everything you said. But I am also very happy with 245/40-17 tires on 8" rims. They drive very good with just a bit higher (35 psi) pressure, they give the traction I need, rims are protected from curb rash. Installing 245 tires on a 9" wheel would be heavier and probably would require coilovers.

Thank you for your input. 9 " wheel s only require coils if +45 offset. Additionally, the weight difference for many is a trade off for a concave looking wheel. But I totally understand what you are saying.

9's will rub with camber bolts and 245's. I rubbed under cornering with +38, 9 wide, and 245's with camber bolts maxed out.

I know. That's not what I was saying. I personally think that +30 is the correct offset for 9" width wheels. Then they sit flush with "max camber". ( -3 or so, nothing crazy)

I am surprised that as popular of a "tuner" car this is there are not better wheel options. I would kill for a 57CR or an RPF1 in 17X7.5 +35. All the wheel options out there do not have great offsets and I am not willing to run spacers on my car due to it being tracked.

I agree, wheel offset choices are pretty limited for some brands. Also, some don't even offer the sizes we run. TSW does not make 5x100 17x9. If I was going to make wheels for this car, that would be my first size!

Spacers work for some, and worry others. I wouldn't ever put something on my car that I was worried about or that I thought might cause an issue on the track.

We will see... I have not had a problem with my spacers, but I could change my mind, if I start to have issues. I understand your concern.

Good point since many of the wheels out there would fit perfect if they were 5x100 bolt pattern.
It wouldn't require companies to do anything but have it drilled with different holes

there was some speculation that the gen2 is going to have 114.5 hubs to get it to fall better inline with the other vehicles produced at the same plant. i'm hoping the hardware is backwards compatible.
