Usually, all carbon fiber pieces have been clear coated to avoid fading. In order to protect it for long, you can
apply Suitable wax, paint sealant or ceramic coat that matches your car paint

A little follow up. I think I pre maturely bashed Avalon king ceramic coat. I didnt initially realize that seibon stuff is not clearcoatef, its just it's natural carbon resin. It's not as glossy or protective as clear. So no wonder ceramic coating didnt really jive with carbon resin. I think ceramic coating clear coat is more appropriate, and the product will do as expected.
