Anyone running AP racing sprint with winmax W2 for street?

I'm not sure if this means the pads are overheating or I need to continue the bedding process.

Any ideas?

I have AP Racing endurance kit on my FR-S with Carbotech XP8 pads. They sounds like a screaming banshee no matter on street or track and no matter how hard I tried to bed them in. But the combo works great on track, I have zero brake fade with 30-min sessions at Laguna Seca and the rotor wear is minimal.

For street driving (which I rarely do on my 86 now), I currently use StopTech Sports 309 pads (yes there is a pad shape matches AP racing calipers) and they are almost silent on street. They should withstand higher temperature than Carbotech 1521 pads and they are almost half the price. The parts numbers are:

Front (for CP8350 caliper): 309.80210 (which is usually under $60)
Rear (for non-brembo 86): 309.11240

I do have to remove the shim came from front brake pads to make them fit but still they are almost silent on street. Hope this info helps you.

The shims you can cut down the middle and place at the edge so the piston makes full contact with the shim. I did this with my carbotech 1521s. Because of the adhesive on the back the shims won't fall off
