I made another post about this but you guys seem to know.... For replacing the snout, all you need is the "32130B Retainer Bearing"? The picture is throwing me off I think because its shows a literal bearing in the photo. I won't need any gaskets or a new buy/install a new input shaft seal?

Its been while since I've replaced the snout on my transmission so my memory is a little fuzzy, but I don't believe I had to buy anything else aside from the cover and a replacement throwout bearing when I did mine the first time. I do remember that the seal comes pre-installed on the new cover so you shouldn't have to buy it separate. I don't remember if there is a gasket behind the cover or not though, if there was I probably just used RTV to seal it back up.

I would call the local dealer and confirm the part number with them before ordering one. I remember it being called a "retainer cover" when I ordered mine, but that was a few years ago and its not uncommon for part numbers to get superseded and the name changed slightly in OEM catalogs.

The X clutch I just put in seemed to have a good quality throw out bearing.
Thats true, if you catch it early there's a good chance the you can save the snout. I think this is less of an issue now than it used to be, the failures don't seem to be as common anymore.
