Techstream can also monitor real time and if I recall it can display dials but I would have to double check to be sure.

Either way I'd only log with techstream because it has a reasonably useful sample rate.

I guess. The banks correspond with each other closely, the measured angles follow the target quickly, and they don't flutter horribly enough to show up given the abysmal bandwidth of the tool.
