Finally had nice weather on a day off to complete one of the doors. Took me most of the day to transfer everything over. I believe I can cut a lot of time out when I do the passenger side.

Had a few holes for clips I had to open a bit with a Dremel. But most important was the overall fitment was perfect!!

Bolted up the first time no adjustments made

Getting close to sunset finished in time

Stock door was heavy as fk. Not 50lbs I had heard, my scale says 43lbs stripped

So after I get the passenger side done this will be good for 64.5lbs weight reduction off the car.

Side note one of the bottom window stoppers is a big heavy piece of steel. I could easily make it out of aluminum and chop another pound off each door.

New car weight should be ~2375.25!

Obviously there is risk.

Don't want to turn this into a safety debate. For my build would pointless at this time to take out 100lbs only to add in a 100lb cage

Not even remotely pointless - stiffer chassis, better turn in, steering feedback, suspension action, PLUS safer. But you are correct - there is no escaping the weight of that sweet mild steel DOM tubing ;P

Love the doors against the white car! ...Want...

Yeah didn't mean a cage doesn't have its benefits for a mostly track car. I meant by my build is the goal to be light at possible for a DD with a stockish interior.

Thanks not sure if they have any left I noticed they weren't on their site after I bought them on markdown. They still have wet ones but im sure they are much heavier for the "looks cool" crowd.

Waiting on a price drop for the fenders as those should save another 7lbs total up front. Then go for Marsh Powerhouse for his hood and roof as his dry carbon parts are lighter than Seibons
