OK so either it is a "corporate car" or a "Local trade in from Original Owner". Unless they are calling the company the "original owner". I would be more inclined to say it was a private owner. Looks well maintained and I don't see a mass of chips that would indicate heavy use. Hard to be sure though since they obviously made it as pretty as possible. The price looks to be about right for the visible condition and the regional average.

That could be. I was refering more to the "corporate cars" that belong to Toyota than just a registration.

I bet that just means the person who owned it had it registered as a company car. No big deal. Problem with that is it could have belonged to anyone, and in Cali it could have been any shop's car and they could have done anything to it before changing it to its current appearance to sell it off.

Yes, that's my thought process as well. If the car is still available i will probably go in for a test drive over the weekend. inspect engine, hopefully if there's a intake it's CARB. Hopefully the Cat Convert is still there.

Smog is the responsibility of the seller in California.

Any idea what else may have been done to it beyond the visible?

I just test drove it. My first time driving a FR-S. Everything felt so balanced gear shift were crisp(maybe a short shifter installed?) and throttle very responsive.

Stock intake...it's lowered on Tien coilovers. Not sure which model. Ride wasn't too stiff. Exhaust wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. But i was going 65mph on 680 for only a minute. So it might be a different story 40 mins in.

The hunt continues...

Hey, I've had my car since December 2012 and I've been to more meets and seen more twins than I can remember. I'm allowed to be snobby and jaded at this point!

Pics? There's a white FR-s in concord toyota. Was hesitant since i'm not interested in a white car. I wanted something hella bright. Hence looking at Hot Lava...what mods have you done to your car?

We're both older and veterans in the car scene, I think we've earned the right to be!

Ew, boil-in-bag enriched precooked? Did you have to find and post the most unappetizing type of rice that you could? Couldn't you have at least given my car a little credit and posted a nice photo of white rice like this?
