The phrasing could've been a bit better, I was weirdly confused trying to picture it. Anyways, yes without front camber, its understeer city and tire shoulders gone.

Do the camber bolts have any negative effect for daily driving on the street?
I drive mine quite spiritedly, and plan to do autocross, but not actual tracks for a while i doubt. |

Typo...should not be a problem.
Tire wear isn't a huge issue for most street drivers until you go over -2 degrees as long as toe is close to 0. Even up to -2.5 is fine for some (though a 100 mile highway commute would not be ideal). If you track your car, tire wear WILL be an issue UNLESS you have more than -2 degrees of camber. Get that negative camber. Exact specs and recommendations will depend on tire size/compound, usage, and suspension set-up. - Andrew |

Is there any sort of agreed upon camber spec for a mix of HPDE and DD duties? I want to keep my car as stock feeling as possible for now, but I have also ruined tires in one track day because I didn't have enough camber on previous cars. How much does zeroing the toe to combat wear change the driving dynamics? Hoping there is a happy medium of settings that won't kill tires on the track or while DDing.
Similar to OP, I am looking to do what is necessary to get my car properly prepped for the track in order to save on costs in the long run. |

Just a few answers. Others can reply on the rest

I live in Germany and my dealer puts a 5W30 oil by default. I've seen cars even running a 5W40 oil. You should not worry about this. The 0W20 suggestion is all about emissions and consumption. Quote:
In general air oil coolers are ok, but you 'll have cases where your oil will NOT run in optimal temperature. Not on track, but on daily driving. In such cases you 'll need to go back to a thinner oil. |

Once every other month? If you have any experience at all, you should just be running a track alignment with that kind of event frequency.

I just wanted to chime in and agree with most of what’s been posted. My 2017 PP has been great on track, even with the stock tires and not much else. Brake fluid is a must for any track car, and I did camber bolts. Aftermarket brake lines are not necessary. One thing I did want to say is, don’t bother with “street/track” brake pads. IMO, they do one or the other well, or neither, and with the Brembos, you can swap them all in <30 minutes. Use a track compound! I love my XP10s. Easily overwhelm the Primacys and will still be one less thing to worry about when I switch to something stickier. I will be adding an oil cooler soon, but honestly don’t plan to do much more other than focus on getting more experience in th car.
