Did the seat swap mess with your airbag's functionality? The USDM cars have airbag sensors on the passenger seat and throws a fit when removed.

Not a problem with 86/BRZ specific Recaro seat bases

Each base frame comes with a connector+resistor for the airbag sensor.

andrewFT86: can you tell more details on these? are these something made by recaro or something by subaru or toyota to fit recaro seats at specific trims/models? (and if later, what might be part numbers?). Also wondering if it's possible to relocate seat heating to recaros too from stock seats .. And if they are only for some specific recaro seats only or can accommodate wide selection of their seats ..

The rails/seat bases are made for our cars by Recaro. Part Numbers indicated on the the lable and are for all if not most Recaro seats

Heating can be relocated.
