I'd look into detailing kits, even better though is if there is a local detailing place near you that sells like a membership or can sell a sort of like x amount of uses card for your dad to go get his car cleaned im sure he'd appreciate that. otherwise i'd look into armrest and things of that matter

Many mentions of exterior care or detailing kits. If you are considering something like this, and he has enjoyed polishing his cars himself, check out www.detailedimage.com for the complete "glass-coat" kit from the "22ple" brand. This will keep him busy for awhile and will result in an eye-boggling deep shine that is the closest thing to real glass. Be sure it includes at least a 50ml bottle of the coating liquid. It is expensive, but not out of your price range, and he may not jump for such a thing himself. There are other brands, all similar products, but you can't go wrong -- there is truly nothing that feels like gliding your fingers over such a beautiful hard shell coating. He will love it.
