I've seen enough of these videos to assess good performance, and this car is amazing. Note how the center section is barely affected by the front offset crash. Wow.

I note that one of the side-impact rigs has bigger (and in the eyes of some, nicer) wheels than the BRZ

I have been to the facility not far from home. World standard testing. Always done at 64 kph in frontal offset. I was present when the Pontiac GTO's we sent to the USA were crashed... so loud and quick.. such a waste !!!
The guys that do this are so fastidious with the scientific nature.. I think it did well.. I for one am happy... just never want to see mine look like these..

I heard last month that they got a BRZ for testing. The test facility is less then 2hrs from me.

Unfortunately, as of about 30 minutes ago, I can attest to how good this car holds up. I came over an overpass and *bam*, no chance to avoid the truck. Crunched my hood, bumper, intake, and bent the a/c condenser it seems. Driver airbag deployed. Didn't feel a thing and nobody was injured. I'll go to the yard tomorrow and get pics. But this car holds up.

That just sucks, at least we all know it's a safe vehicle. But it's still a very sad thing to happen...
