Using as change tray place, where heated seat switches normally comes? I'd pass (even if there weren't in mine). Hard braking, jumps on road irregularities .. i certainly wouldn't want coins to drop from there below seats. Had once one nut slide in there and fall behind floor trim below seat, when installing new clutch pedal bumpstop. Took one hour to find it by touch and get out. Do NOT place there stuff. Use at least cellphone pocket next to start button.
Sidegain: less there is small crap lugged around, less things will rattle.
