i've seen lists like this online before and wondered at how accurate they were. a little more credible coming from a known vendor like vivid racing. seems there's a good amount of light cast wheels, might as well go for cast as opposed to the more expensive forged wheels. dymag carbon/magnesium? where can you even find those?

You know, we can probably have this setup as a Google Doc Spreadsheet. That way we can sort by weight and everyone can add to it.
In fact, I might do it later today if I have some free time.
I have it in spead sheet now. Just can not uploaded it to the site here.

This is not the end all of lists. I have compared a few they have matched. So I use it. I would keep it as a rough estimate. Newer wheels are coming out everyday and are not listed on this.

Yeah, but what is wrong with a Google Doc?

Can anyone send me the xls format?

Want to see if I can add to it (offset, bolt pattern etc..) to help narrow down searches

Not trying to be snarky, but I'm pretty sure this is a direct copy and paste from the wheelweights.net website. Unless you're the owner of that website, you should give credit where it's due and cite your sources. If you are the owner, my apologies and all the kudos in the world for the great work that I've been referencing for many years now.

If anyone is still interested, I've uploaded a .xls file via Google docs. It's a sortable list, you just have to enable editing.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...QUE&output=xls

Thanks to wheelweights.net for the great source of information on this one!

PS. If you don't trust the already sortable file I've made, you can easily create one yourself from the .xls file offered on the original website.

Here are our contribution. We take pics of each wheel on a scale. Not a lot but we will keep updating it.

The only problem with multi-piece wheels is that the center disk type affects weight.

A O-disk (flat center with no caliper clearance) will be lighter than the same diameter R-disk (concave center with big brake clearance).

Weights won't be uniform even if sizexwidth is the same.
