I am in atl, and used oft. That said I am not a tuner, but I did do loads of reading. I plan on getting another oft, but ended up selling mine for quick convention cash in Sept as I didn't want to dip into my savings. I just haven't picked up a new oft yet.

Anyways, long story short, I am interested in oft and am in atl. I do not have a dyno or anything though, just some dude. ☺️

Am think of trying to go flex fuel when I do look at picking oft back up.

I was just hopping somewhere here in the Atlanta, area I could come across somebody using the oft that knows how to read the values and show me how to tweak it.

I can read the values and understand their meanings, I am just not that savvy with the computer in so much as how to read the tunes, roms and make the adjustments. Anyway I will get something figured out. Again love reading your posts. I spent one night at Mildenhall back in 1995. My unit had an F-15 c model that we had to fly in and do an engine change on. I spent a lot of time at Ramstein AFB in Germany. I plan on taking my wife in the near future to visit the U.K. it seems like a cool place to visit or live. Thanks Steve

If you have a piece of safe flat road nearby

obviously not as good as a real dyno

Maybe the filters aren't set right for you? Keeping the dv/dt setting as low as possible is the best way. With an hours worth of logging there should be plenty of data for it to work well. I've just had a look at Yike's sheet and it tries to do alot of that for you, however as I use ECUtek it's a bit of work to get it to run.

Hmm possibly. I'm making a custom e85 scale right now (laptop just literally died today) and ill play around a little more with it for comparison.

Yeah I need to go ecutek. That'll be happening very soon.

If you do a few 86\brz might be worth buying a tactrix, jist shove it in obd port and it logs, no messing with laptop.

EVi Then you can also log the parameters you don't get with Tactrix. You still have to load Tactrix logs onto a PC to do anything with them.....
