The above video is from our qualifying session on Wednesday. It was a busy week of qualifying with both T4 and B-Spec sharing the track in qualifying. We knew we had to qualify well because the Touring 4 top 15 were all within a second of each other in times. After checking data, I knew we could pull a 39.

I had good laps earlier in the session, but caught traffic entering the carousel. So on this lap when I checked my predictive going through sector 2 and I was way up on speed, I was bummed to enter the carousel catching traffic again. When I saw the melee happen with the 2 Miata's in front, I was able to keep my lap alive. It worked out!

The race video onboard is not as exciting as the qualy lap, but it was a great flag to flag victory. For over half the race the lead MX5 was on my bumper and we were pushing each other. You can watch the Championship TV coverage here: https://www.scca.com/videos/2029788
