A 2013 with accidents isn't worth much. I bought mine (2013) last August for $19.5k and got rear ended a week later. Tried to trade it in a few months ago at 31k and the dealer offered me $12.5k.

I'll chime in on this. My 2016 got hit over night in the left rear about 2 months ago. Never found the fucker who did it. My left tail light was smashed and the bumper was scratched and dented in on the left side. Unfortunately I went and reported it to cops out of rage and the stupid belief they may try and find the culprit (didn't happen), but never filed any insurance claim. I decided to buy Valenti's for the tail lights rather than keeping oem and the bumper was popped out so it wasn't as bad.

The bad part, however, was that the bumper was not able to clip onto the clips properly and was not seated properly. The tail light on that side also did not sit properly. A month later my grandfather and I took the bumper off to find that the frame got pushed inward, and the clip trays for the bumper were not in their correct place. We used the tail light as a reference for where the clip tray below the tail light is supposed to be, and did some homebrew to make it work. I sprayed the the parts of metal where the pain cracked with rustproof spray paint and got the bumper to have a roughly 95% fit. It is now only slightly visible on the side near the wheel well, where the space between quarter panel and bumper is a little bit greater than the other side.

I have had thoughts of what to do in terms of selling the car, but decided to keep it and drive it till it dies. Only thing I'm worried about is the dent in the trunk possibly causing some sort of structural fault in the car or premature rust building up. From the exterior though, it looks clean. It just has scratches on the bumper which look like I backed into something.

Black cars and white cars seem to be invisible. I've had a few close calls with my red BRZ, but I've had more close calls and actual accidents with my black Jeep Cherokee that is twice the BRZ's size. One idiot rear ended my Jeep and actually said, "I didn't see you." And I thought, of course not, with your head shoved up your ass like that.

Keep the car. Drive and park defensively. I always assume everyone around me is about to do something stupid. I always look for parking spaces where the car is protected or where someone would have to make a deliberate effort to hit it.

While this car isn't an accident magnet, some cars are. Everybody I ever knew who bought a Fiero ended up getting hit. Something about that car's shape made it invisible, even in red.

Just probably bad luck, as they say, someone has to be on the top end of the bell curve and with a few accidents under your belt, you will probably be fine from here on in...unless you are skewing the data by your driving habits!

Seriously, don't get rid of the car because of this.

May I suggest this to make it more visible:

Honestly speaking, I don't believe in cursed car, but I do believe in lucky car. And if a car has saved you by taking damage on itself...then its lucky for u.

I don't know anybody who's died in a car accident. I do however know at least 3 that died in motorcycle accidents.
Sometimes you just have a bad run of luck and that appears to be the case here.

NONONONONONO! Flashing strobes and gaudy colors attract drunk drivers.

They see the strobes and colors, think "VEGAS!!!" and turn the wheel right into the car.

NO DONT SELL IT! - Use it to your advantage.

Get a fwd & rev dashcam, Team up with a lawyer, and drive around with your accident magnet.
Sue everybody that hits you and use the proceeds to buy a Cayman S.
