While I agree on the points raised above I think it is great that Nissan is experimenting with the idea. That is, even if it doesn't work at least they gave it a go. If you/they don't try we don't progress.

Oh, absolutely, try everything. We wouldn't have any of the cool stuff we take for granted today if people back then were'nt pushing the envelope.

One day this will be the way to go but for now i think its to new and to many joints and moving which tend to always be weak points.
